The Hotel
The Entrance
The Ritz Carlton Lobby is based on a higher floor, but the entrance is equally opulent with a beautiful. There are beautiful floral arrangements and the walkway reflects the hotel’s grandeur. The staff are just super friendly; bags are whisked away separately and a representative greets you immediately on arrival.
The Main Lobby
The main lobby area is full of tortoise shell marble and exudes luxury with water beautiful water features, abstract artwork and indoor plants. The lobby is dimly lit and noticeably quiet for a busy hotel.
The Bar & Lobby Lounge
There is the Bar and the Lounge for afternoon tea and drinks. This is the Lounge for afternoon tea:
The bar area is quite stunning:
I chill and enjoy the view as the evening unfolds.
The Room
The room has the perfect view of Tokyo Tower and the city as well as the harbour. The room has luxe furnishings; super comfortable sofas, lovely dark wooded finishes and furniture. The Bed is super comfortable with a purple cover and plush pillows… but even in bed one’s focus is the amazing view.
A welcome gift of different glutinous sweet cakes are provided.
The view as the sun sets is quite lovely as Tokyo Tower takes on an orange glow.
Here is a little video of the view from the room:

The Bathroom
The bathroom is spacious with light beige marble finishes for the deep soaking tub and rainforest shower.
A darker deep blue marble adorns the bathroom sink and there are wonderful amenities from Asprey Purple Water. Wonderful plush towels and bathrobes are provided for use which are lovely.

Breakfast
In the morning Tokyo proves a little hazy resulting in a bit of an obstructed view of Tokyo Tower.
I decide to have breakfast in the room, as it’s kinda the last day of the holiday and I don’t want to leave the room. I order the Ritz Carlton Breakfast and this is the spread:
There is a lovely serving of poached eggs with salmon mousse, fried leeks, herb puree paired with slices of premium ham, freshly squeezed orange juice, seasonal sliced fruits, a selection of pastries and espresso coffee.
It proves to be the most delectable breakfast; the runny yolk of the poached eggs, the light fluffy salmon mousse. The crusty and flaky sweet pastries, the juicy fruits were amazing and it was washed down by a fresh coffee (cause I needed a wake-up) and the refreshing OJ! Even though its a little hazy (and fog did clear a little later) the view is quite stunning!
The Pool and Spa
There is a very large swimming pool where you can do regular laps and a wonderful heated spa with a beautiful view of the city. It proves super therapeutic.
Here is a little video of the view from the pool and spa area.
The background tune is “This Is What You Came For” by Calvin Harris – I don’t own the rights to the song.
Overall
I would definitely recommend the Ritz Carlton Tokyo to anyone staying in this beautiful city. It’s in the hip Roppongi district, amazing views, wonderful restaurants, a pool / spa with views and the service was amazing; I had a late check-out (4pm) and everyone went the extra mile to ensure the stay was that much more enjoyable.
