Last day in London (Belgravia, W Leicester Square and Chauffeur)

I spend the final day of our holiday polishing up some commercial matters which have arisen during trip before checking out of the hotel (see my review here).

I then get a recommendation from a girl at the hotel, that I must visit the W Lounge at the W Hotel in Leicester Square, I accept her recommendation and head there for drinks in the W Lounge Bar.

We walk past the beautiful Buckingham Palace (next to the hotel) as we make our way into the heart of London.

W Hotel Lounge

The lounge is plush, with beautiful leathers sofas and round stools and charming Eastern Europe staff with the whole “look at moi” look.

We settle in for one round of cocktails! My dining companion has the Cool Britannia – Tanquery Gin, Manzana Verde, Cucumber and Grapes. Which is oh so perfect for the European summer weather. I have a spiced apple cocktail (which names escapes me), with a chilli in the glass to pair. Its lovely. It is such a hip place to spend the final afternoon of our trip.

Then I take a walk through Belgravia… its probably my favourite spot in London. I just love the peaceful serenity and the lovely terrace block houses. I so want to live here…. one day 🙂

Then we make it back to our hotel, collect our bags and the Qantas Chauffeur is waiting to take us to the airport. I am on my way home!
