Qantas First Class Lounge – Melbourne

So I am on my way to London and have taken a flight from Sydney to Melbourne, where I am about to hop on QF9 to London Heathrow. Here is a short review of my time in the Melbourne Lounge, which is very similar to the Sydney Lounge.

Dining Room

The dining room in the lounge is wonderful. I stop by for some wine and a light meal. I won’t review each of these items I have already done a good review of the Autumn Menu (check it out here).

Lounge

The Lounge has a couple of Private Suites, the one at the end (right) has wonderful views over the tarmac.

There is a quiet area / hub for those who want to brush up on their reading.

Spa

There are fewer spa treatment rooms than Sydney, but the rooms are much larger and more expansive. I just love the back massage I have. Its so rejuvenating and gets my back feeling relaxed before the long flight.

Private Suite

I do book one of the Private Suites to catch-up on some errands. The views of the tarmac are amazing from here.

I have a trademark Salt & Pepper Squid with a glass of the Moet & Chandon Grand Vintage (2006) in the Suite. It is such a lovely experience.

Then the boarding call chimes and I am off to gate for my flight to London.
