I couldn’t think of a better way to kick-up my heels than spending time at the Harbour Grand Hong Kong. I stayed here last year (you can check out the review here) and this place definitely has its charm and the staff are always oh so friendly and they just know the definition of good service!
Hotel
The lobby is quite spectacular as the reflective glow of the marble just dazzles you.
The Room
I finally make it to my room and well, this is the view it offers. It is the beautiful view I could ever imagine. There is a charm about this hotel that one could never describe in words. The pillow is the perfect companion for my head to cure my jet lag and ensure I am fresh for the day ahead.
Of course I wake up in little intervals to gaze at the beautiful view, soak up some Vitamin D from those precious rays of sunlight and to day dream about maybe living here one day.
The bathroom is stocked full of beautiful Elemis Products which British Airways use in their lounges in London (review here) and New York (review here).
Club Lounge
I just love the view from the Club Lounge. Its the perfect place to wait, to gaze at the beauty of Victoria Harbour, to check to those work emails which continue to flow and to recover from the jet lag.
There are complimentary afternoon canapes and refreshments. I just can’t seem to go past the a glass of red wine to unwind from a pretty hectic day.
There are a delightful selection of canapes which provide the perfect sustenance for the evening…
1. Beetroot Mousse, Cucumber on Egg
2. Spanish Ham on Cracker
3. Octopus and Wasabi vol-au-vent
4. Prawn and Tobiko in a waffle cone
I am a huge food and wine lover, but even the wonderful wine and canapes can’t distract me from this spectacular view. I just love Hong Kong!
The views are amazing but your room looks kinda dark…?!
The reason it looks dark is on order to prevent reflection on the glass, so the camera could capture the view I had to turn off all the lighting.
