The Lower North Shore
Here are some cocktail snaps from the lower north shore! Prior to venturing out for drinks, I was in Kirribilli during the afternoon and took this photo of Sydney Harbour…. so amazing, so beautiful.
Cotton Thief
Named after a Cotton Thief from ole London town (William Brown) who was deported to Australia and then became a fine citizen/businessman. His dying wish was that one of his progeny would set up a small bar. Some hundreds of years later it’s happened … oh so the story goes :). Anyway, they do amazing pizza, wine and cocktails…
The Drunken Sailor and a Picaroon Cabernet Sauvignon from Margaret River. 
The Drunken Sailor is made from Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, Sauza Hornitos Tequila, lime juice & agave nectar. The strength of the rum and the bite from the tequila pair with the lime to create a strong first taste which is subsequently balanced by the subtle sweetness of the agave nectar.

This place was packed on Saturday night…. thankfully the lovely girl at the door was kind enough to me in. This place has the feel of the Californian lifestyle, the food menu looks cool and the vibe is very chilled (so I am gonna be back soon to review it in detail).
Tiki My Fancy Cocktail & Salted Caramel Espresso Martini
Salted Caramel Espresso Martini – it’s difficult to taste the salted caramel but the strength of the espresso shines to give a little kick (a real wake-me-up) while the beautiful chocolate honeycomb crumble provides a lovely sweet finish. The honeycomb dissolves in the cocktail and you can rub the the chocolate pieces over your tongue for a rich creamy cocoa finish to the drink. It’s beautiful.
The Tiki my Fancy has rum, cherry liqueur, pineapple, lime, passionfruit and heaps of other good stuff (just quoting the board – see below). The strength and tartness of the rum and lime are balanced by the sweet fruit flavours of the other ingredients to provide a well balanced drinking experience.
